A Sweet Thing...

Wow...it's been so long since I've been here...I'm always thinking about being here...so many ideas fill my head and then it seems I never have the time to to do them and if I do get to them...afterwards...I say dang...I should have taken pictures of that...such is life and I can't worry about it...so when I post, its a treat for me...and well, hopefully for you!

I woke up this morning and said, I am making a treat. I didnt know what treat yet but as the Kids slept I looked around for something to make. Having supplies EVERYWHERE, I knew I could come up with something. When I saw the bags of Rolos and a bag of pretzels...I thought well that will get me in the crafty mood...and it did......We've all seen them, we've probably all made them but they are tasty little buggers and I decided to Rolo with it...hahaha...it started like this...

They quickly went into the 350 degree oven for 4 minutes....when they came out, I plopped a peanut butter M&M on top of each one....everything tastes better with peanut butter on it! They COULD have been done at that point...

But when you have a DRAWERS full of sprinkles....I'm thinking nothing is really done until you use some of them....Right?????

So....my sweet little treats turned out like this....which was promptly snagged by my Daughter who said she wanted to take it with her to her friend's house...glad I got a picture first!

These are my favorite kinds of treats...easy to make and can look so cute...Hope your doing something fun this Saturday...I guess after eating all the mis-haps treats, I better go walk the dogs....or sit on the couch...or something....

A Cutie Pie, Hair Yo-Yo, Valentine!!

Since it was my turn for homework help at the Church and the Girls have choir first, I grabbed some of my crafting supplies and had some quiet time to make some yo-yos before the Kids came into to work. I had been wanting to make some hair clips for a while now and while sitting here today..trying desperately to focus, only on crafting and not what is going on in my "real" life, I started thinking about Valentines and while looking at the happy finished yo-yos, I thought how fun would it be to give a hair bow as valentine! {of course with my sweet tooth, there always has to be a little sweet treat too!} I decided on these....

A yummy little stick of cinnamon red hots with a tag, attached with a glittered clip..and on the tag...a cutie pie hair yo-yo...how cute is that?! I covered the scary stitching with a cute little felt heart! {Magic!}

I think I'm getting a seasonal cold. I've started sneezing {a thousand times} and my eyes feel tired and watery. I'm sleepy too!! I think I'll go try to be horizontal for a minute or two...maybe I can talk the Girls into snuggle time and really hear about their day!!

I love you to "Pieces"!!!!

I was working on a couple of orders for some chocolate covered pretzels...after I was done and getting ready to clean up, I looked at all the broken pretzels pieces and thought, hmmmmm, I'll make those for the Kids as an after school snack. So I sat back down and using the broken pieces I made a bunch of these little tasty cutie sticks...

Then I thought, hey...they would make a fun snack anytime...for anyone...suddenly they turned into this...I couldnt help myself...thats how it works for me...I think of something and nothing else can happen until its out of my head...and I should be working...and here I am playing around.....the tag says: I Love You to Pieces! Happy Valentines Day!!

Cute huh?!! Now you know what to do with all those nagging, broken pretzels pieces you have hanging around your house!! =:O)

Ahhhhh...the Reds and Pinks are coming out..everywhere you look are yummy hearts and pretty colors!!!! My favorites!!!

The paper is Martha Stewart and let me tell you...I'm in Love it with it! The red with the white polka dots is my favorite piece of paper ever!! I don't know why but I love it!!!
