Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

Just a quick post to say Hello!!!

I had so many ideas this year for adorable Valentines.....I bought the supplies...and unfortunately...here they sit in my studio...in bags....waiting...Such is life these days...I did take time out tonight to create some cute little Valentines to give out tomorrow...of course they needed to be quick, inexpensive and cute...Here's what I came up with....all created while watching American Idol....



Pretty Cute....All packaged and ready to go.....I love Valentines. Little envelopes...Hearts...Ribbon...all fun.



Do you have any special plans? Romantic Dinner? Dancing? Movies? Boycotting the whole thing? My Honey sent me a big bouquet of fruit today...a little pre-valentines....I loved it....Pineapple hearts...Chocolate covered strawberries...oh my!!! It was lovely!! Whatever you do tomorrow/today...I hope your day is special...

You're The Cream of The Crop!!!

The Kids and I sat at the kitchen table today and finished up their Valentines to take to school tomorrow!! These adorable little "Sour Cream Packs" were actually a lot of fun to make!! We used only the valentine scrap paper and card stock that I had in my scrap bag!!! I Love that!! Don't throw away those scraps!! They can always be used in a different project!!!

The Kids, glued, taped and stuffed all sorts of valentines goodies that I had from various projects inside each pouch and I used the paper crimper on the ends. Attached a tag with some ribbon and viola....little packets of goodness! Did you make Valentines to send to school? I'd love to see them!!!

Do you have any special traditions that happen on Valentines? Around my house...The Valentines Day Fairy shows up and leaves a little wrapped gifts for the Kids...we usually spend it as a family with candlelit dinner and all...the Kids love it! Shhhhh...we are also making some "Love Shacks"(think Gingerbread Houses)out of graham crackers...Should be fun!!! What are your plans?

School Valentines to be Bananas About!!!

So the kids worked REALLY hard on all their Classmates Valentines....The final result....55+ adorable Monkey Valentines that they will get to pass out tomorrow!!

Stamped with Hero Arts stamps...The Valentines say..."Just Swingin' by to say...Happy Valentines Day!!" With of course Banana Head & Little Red Heart Candy!! Here's the little One I made...

Of course with all the "Monkeying" around...it super late and and the pictures are a bit off and....well...so am I. I think they did a great job and I hope you like them....Thanks for "Swinging" by!!
