I just wanted to quickly post the card I had made. Little Tilda, I don't know the name of the stamp but she is from Magnolia and she is holding a lovely flower!

Ever wake up in the morning and remember its someones Birthday...maybe a co-worker or post person? This little treat is so easy to make, looks great, tastes great...geez...it must be great!! =;0)
Photobucket
Using punches, I created the little Hershey peppermint candy sandwiches. I used the Amuse "Birthday Wishes" stamp and a Clear stamp Princess or Fairy stamp from the dollar bin at Michaels, colored with Copics and attached the sandwiches! The topper, I used a Spellbinder Nestabilities and cut 2 sizes...finished with a cute bow...and viola...a cute, easy, Birthday treat for someone special!! The great thing about this treat is it can be adapted to fit any occasion...Thank You, Congrats, Welcome...etc!!

Tear Bears

Today I finished up an 8x8 scrapbook layout that I will be listing on ebay tonight. I've decided tear bears take me a LONG time to make...I could be just slow but they require so much effort and I've come to the conclusion that I really am not good at the tear bear clothes making! I wish someone would make me some adorable little clothes and all I would have to do is make the bear!!!
Photobucket
This is the full 8x8 layout!! Lots of fun!! I think next its time to make a card!!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Hello!! I decided to try doing an 8 x 8 page layout. I've never done one before but I have to say they are really fun to do. They don't take as long as a 12x12 layout which means you feel like you've accomplished something quicker! This is my first attempt...
Photobucket
I can understand why people would like this size album..its handy, compact and really cute!! I used the rest of My Minds Eye paper that I had, from the card I made a few days ago, which is a great way to use perfect leftover paper. The tear bear, made of mulberry paper, sets it off quite cute, I think!!
Wednesdays are always short school days for my kids, they get out early, so I'm off to do chores and such before its time to go get them!!
Enjoy your Wednesday and Thanks for stopping by!!!

Spring has Sprung!!

So I actually made this card on Sat. using the sketch over on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. It was my first time doing a sketch from there and it was fun!!!It was from 2 weeks ago but those challenges never get "old" so you can do them anytime....
Photobucket
I used the Penny Black "Companion" stamp and did the flower twice and added another butterfly, both pop dotted, to add a little more fun! The paper (which is very "springy")and ribbon are from Making Memories, Prima flowers and stickles along with various brads and gems finish up the card. This card will be on eBay tomorrow so if you want, you can see the inside there. Thanks for taking a peek!!
Have a Happy Day!!

Edited to add: This card has been sold. Thank You!

Happy Spring!!!

I love the Friday Sketchers blog and often think...I want to do that but then something comes up or I forget, well this week, I decided to just do it!! Photobucket
The paper is My Minds Eye and I love the whole line!! I used the new Spring 2009 Magnolia stamps which are super cute and I pop dotted her off the card then I pop dotted her pockets and the cute ladybug! Her rubber boots I glazed to make them look shiny! I downloaded the circle sentiment that I think looks perfect on this card! Finished with a little ribbon, some Primas and a tiny bit of bling!
The weather is perfect today!! Spring is here!! Enjoy your weekend!!

Edited to add: This card has been sold. Thank You!

Lucky You!!

With St.Patricks Day right around the corner, I thought I should do something green! This is a Rachael Anne Miller stamp, Lily, Picking Flowers from Stampavie!!! I love this image!!
Photobucket
I used super shimmery paper, The Green Day line by Reminisce and Bazzill Bling card stock!! Golden tread and Dew Drops add a little fun. I colored the image with Copics and I was sure to add a little glitter with my atyou pens!! Love those!!! This card will be on eBay shortly for a quick 5 day auction and you can see close ups and the inside there if you'd like to...

Until next time.....

May you always have
Walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire!

Copic Storage Solutions!!

I've decided Copic markers are addictive!! I love them...wish I had all of them and can't wait to get more of them. I love it when I see how other people store their markers and I saw this inexpensive way on LOTS of blogs! Since the price couldn't be beat, I decided to store mine in the same way!!
Photobucket
These little buckets can be found at IKEA in lots of different colors, since my studio is lavender and white, I choose the white ones. You can choose from green, blue, black or several other colors too! For under $8.00, my happy Copics are off my work space and now at eye level and I have been loving it ever since!!
Now if I could just organize the rest of the place! =:O)

Easter is on its way....

This Easter card is ready for SomeBunny!! hehehe...made with a Magnolia, Bunny Tilda stamp it is a very fun Easter card.
Photobucket
I used Sizzix dies and Martha Stewart punches to add some texture to the card. I think the Martha Stewart border punch looks like part of a basket so it works with Easter things! I wanted Tilda to look like she is coming out of an egg...remember those sugar eggs that had scenes inside it? I loved those eggs! The paper is pearlized and is made by Reminisce in perfect Easter colors.
This card will be on eBay soon so "Hop" over there a take a peep!

Edited to add: This card has been sold. Thank You!

Cookie Time!!!

So...I'm the "Cookie Mom" for my Daughters Brownie troop and this past weekend, we picked up ALL the cases and cases of cookies that our troop sold...My living room had a zillion cookies in it!! These of course being my favorite....
Photobucket
Part of the girls earning one of the patches for selling all these cookies was that they needed to make Thank You notes to give to the Customers...My Daughters both decided they wanted to stamp something...I found the PERFECT stamps from Amuse. The girls have worked on a few each night and will continue until they make enough for each person that bought from them!! I'm glad they are doing all the coloring!! =:O)
Photobucket
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget the milk!!

Photobucket
